This is a student project. This design brief is a poster for the band Munch Overheard, which is a ambient-acid-jazz-liquid-funk band, as well as, two other band; From All Invisible and Obviousness. The brief required images of the three bands and specified text. The art director supplied a sketch to guide the design and they requested 3mm bleed, 20mm page margins and a 4x5 grid with a 3mm gutter. I used InDesign to create the poster. Using the grid as a guide I was able to create a cohesive design along with the use of the frame tool to lay out the images nicely. I decided to add the textured mustard background to tie it together as well as emphasise the feeling I associate with the ambient-acid-jazz-liquid-funk genre.
